Biography

Jacob was born about 1839 in Germany to John Wendel Schnellbaecher and Anna Maria Riedel. He passed away 4 Aug 1869 in Quincy, Adams, Illinois. He is buried in Woodland Cemetery in Quincy.^[1]

Married Elizabeth Speckhardt 5 April 1863 in Adams county, Illinois. They had three children: Freddie, George, and Elizabeth.

In the 1870 census, his widow is living with their children, Fritz, Georgia, and infant Lizzie, in her parents' household in Fall Creek, Adams county, Illinois.
