Biography
George Michael Schmidt (Georg Michael) was born about 1714. He was recorded on the passenger list as one of the "Foreign Protestants" who set sail for Nova Scotia, June 6th, 1752 on the "Pearl", under Thomas Francis, Master. He was listed as a miller from the Palatinate, age 27.
On January 3rd, 1758, George Michael married Margareta Barbara Treffian, recorded at St. John's Anglican Church in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. They had children.
He passed away about 1798. [1]
