Biography
Father Sir Roger Scales, 4th Lord Scales[1] b. c 1347, d. 25 Dec 1386
Mother Joan de Northwode[2] b. c 1354, d. 3 Jan 1415
Sir Robert Scales, 5th Lord Scales was born circa 1372 at of Scales in Haslingfield, Cambridgeshire, England; Proof of age before 21 April 1396.[3]
He married Elizabeth Bardolph, daughter of Sir William Bardolf, 4th Lord Bardolph of Wormgay and Agnes Poynings, circa 1395; They had 2 sons (Robert, 6th Lord Scales; & Sir Thomas, 7th Lord Scales).[4]
Sir Robert Scales, 5th Lord Scales left a will on 10 May 1401.
He died on 7 December 1402; Buried at Blackborough Priory, Norfolk.[5]
His estate was probated on 31 October 1403.[6]
