Theodore Banta wrote that Job Sayre had a daughter Elizabeth, born on March 11, 1677, but gave no further details about her.[1]
Keith Corbett claimed that Elizabeth married John Lee, and later married Benjamin Maple Sr, but no evidence has been presented for either of these marriages.
The Elizabeth who married John Lee and Benjamin Maple was born March 11 1677. Her uncle, Joseph Sayre, was an Elizabethtown associate, as was Benjamin Price, the husband of her aunt Mary Alice Sayre, Robert White, John Lee's grandfather, and Joseph Hindes, John's brother in-law. Sarah Clare Lee (who married Benjamin Maple Jr.) was the granddaughter of Mary Alice Sayre (hence the 2nd cousin of her husband and his half brother David Lee.)[2]
Elizabeth Sayre first married John Lee, some time before 1694. In 1694, she married a second time, to Benjamin Maple, in New Jersey.
This speculation is very questionable. John Lee's ancestry has not been documented in WikiTree. There is no historical evidence that Benjamin Maple Jr married Sarah Clare Lee, or that the Elizabeth who is said to have married John Lee was Elizabeth Sayre.
John Lee of Elizabethtown had a brother Benoni Lee, who left a will dated July 19, 1705 (proved September 24, 1705):
Lee, Benoni, of Elizabeth Town, tailor; will of.
Divides "Worldly Estate" between sister Mary Hindes, her second son Jonathan Hindes, third son James, daughter Mary Hindes; sister Abigail Lee (under age), brother-in-law Edward Spining, brother John Lee and his son Elihue. House and lots in Elizabeth Town on the country road, adjoining Charles Tooker, 4 acres in Raway meadows, derived from father Thomas Lee, 15 acres in Elizabeth Town next to William Miller.Personal property. Brother-in-law Edward Spining sole executor. Witnesses--Samuel Whitehead, Samuel Bounell and James Hindes junior.
Proved September 24, 1705. Executor sworn in October 23, 1705.
The John Lee who is said to have married Elizabeth Sayre was apparently still alive in 1705; thus, he could not have been the first husband of Elizabeth Maple, who married Benjamin Maple on June 4, 1695. More likely, Elizabeth Maple was first married to a different John Lee, who lived in Nottingham Township, Burlington County, on January 25, 1695. (See Benjamin Maple Sr for references.)

What is the original source that Elizabeth was born on March 11, 1677? How does anyone know that Benjamin Maple's wife was born about 1677? I doubt very much there is any record for the latter.
The Elizabeth who married John lee and Benjamin Maple was bornabout 1677. Elizabeth Sayre was born March 11 1677.
