Easy fix :D In the message below (2nd paragraph) is a live link, that will take you to a 1700's certification quiz (easy). After that you can edit the profile - any problems, let me know - Patt

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community - Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree. We are building one Collaborative Tree with just one profile per person, so it is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree.

If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add, please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. Also, be sure to include a list of the sources used, on each profile you add.

If you need any help getting started check out the Help Index or the G2G forum . Also our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

Good luck growing your branches, Patt

I am a direct descendant of Gov. John Sanford and Elizabeth Webb. Governor of Rhode Island, who came here in 1631 on Ye Good Ship Lyon on my mother's side. My father's Seiler/Saylor family came here in the early 1700's. Through the various marriages in the early families I have several ancestors who were on the Mayflower.

I have a great love of family and country and am fascinated by history and discovering my roots. I have researched my direct family lines as well as that of my husband, several friends, and my son-in-law. My husband's early grandfather, Robert Eames/Ames, was married to Rebecca Blake, one of the Salem Witches. And Daniel Boone was his 4th great uncle. I am an amateur genealogist but strive to be accurate. Ancestry.com has been a great help.
