Charles was born about 1713.
Saunders sailed round the world with George Anson 1742-4, and became one of his closest friends and most trusted followers. [1]
Charles married Miss Buck, the daughter of a London banker in 1751.[2]
He died without issue in 1775 leaving his considerable wealth to his niece Jane Huck-Saunders.
