Welcome back to WikiTree! I sent you a private email. Please don't hesitate to contact me should you have any questions. I very much look forward to working with you.
I'm so glad to meet you and am excited to be working with you on those profiles! Your Mayflower ancestors sound fascinating to me - you'll have to teach me more.
Thank you! I appreciate the help. I basically have my work in three places: Wikitree, Ancestry, and FamilySearch. I feel scattered because it's not uncomplicated to transfer info from one to another, so some of it is different from one location to the next, depending on which one I'm in when I discover something new.
I've noted numerous duplicated profiles for this Mayflower family: Stephen Hopkins (1582 - 1644). All of the Mayflower passengers and many, many of their descendants for about 5 generations already exist on WikiTree. As you probably know, creating duplicates is against our policy of one profile per person. Please revisit the page Help: Pre-1700 Profiles. I'll be sending merge requests to you shortly so that we can clear up the duplicates, and it would be very much appreciated if you would approve them quickly so they can be resolved.
Thank you! I apologize, I picked him up from ancestry.com, but I never digged into his background. After further digging, I can find no evidence that Wharton Nunn b. 1755 had a son of the same name. Unfortunately, as far as I know, wikitree still doesn't have the ability to delete profiles, so I'll do a merge.
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.
Add the project tag to your Following list to be kept up to date on any activity that occurs for that project.
