Matilda Amy Frances Sanderson was born in about 1852. She was the daughter of Richard Sanderson and his wife, Matilda Charlotte (Manners-Sutton) Sanderson. Her father was a banker and merchant, and had been the MP for Colchester before Matilda was born.
Matilda never married. She died on 27 Jun 1931, aged 78, in Uxbridge district. Her address was given as Moorcroft House, Illingdon East, Uxbridge, Middlesex. Her brother Edward acted as her executor.
Her name was given in the death registration as Amy Matilda, in the probate record as Matilda Amy Frances.
