My tree and research are currently on Ancestry - happy to share. I’m researching my family roots mostly in New England, going back to the Great Migration. Among many names: Gilbert, Langevin, others from French Canada; Sanborn, Pike, Sargent, others from England; McGinnis from Ireland/Scotland; and Dutch Mooers roots. One branch of my family is in the Bahamas, and I’m especially interested in tracing those roots: Rae (Scotland and/or Southern Loyalist); Menendez (Spain), Yonge (SC & GA loyalist); Lockhart and Munro (Scotland; path unknown); Doyle (Ireland). In all branches, I’ve started looking for and documenting enslavement and enslaved people in New England, the Caribbean and south.
