Biography

Sarah Salmon, the daughter of Thomas Salmon and Sarah Janes, was born about 1719 and died 29 April 1788 at the age of 68. She married, as his second wife, John Moss, the son of John Moss and Jane Thompson. Sarah and John had 11 children: William, John Daniel, Sarah, Nancy, Joseph, Jane, Mabel, Elizabeth, Isaac, and Elihu.^[1]

Research Notes

A merged profile indicated without sources that Sarah was born in New Haven. Her siblings were born in Fairfield County, and it is more likely that she also was born in Fairfield County. Jacobus, in FANH does not state her birth location.
