In the name of God Amen! I George Safret of Rowan County, being of perfect mind and memory do this 15th day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty two, make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say:
First after my deceased I commend my body to be buried in a decent Christian manner at the expense of my estate.
Second, it is to say and after my death it is my request that my executor herein after named shall get a pare of common size of tomb stones & put them up at my grave.
third it is my will that after my death that my part of land in the track which Charles Safret decest lived on is to go to the heirs of Charles Safret, Dec
also one track of land one hundred & fifty acres I now own is to be sold by my executor and to be
divided equal between my brothers and sisters.
Fifth it is my will that my sister Catherine Casper, wife of John Casper is to have thirty dollars.
Sixth, it is my will that after my death the ballence of my property be divided equal amongst my brothers and sisters property notes & money that I have when I die, Christena Dawalt wife of John Dawalt it is to fall to her children Elizabeth Bostian wife of Jacob Bostian, it is to fall to her & her children Rosena Felker, wife of Henry Felker, to her & her children Daniel Safret, Moses
Stricker, Paul Stricker, Polly Yost wife of Martin Yost,& Elizabeth Rumple, will have one share equal to be divided amongst them, the share of their mother & Peter Safred, & it is my will that my executor is to draw no interest to his own for one year, it is my will that after death the property willed to my brother & sisters is to be sold by my executor and settled within two years
after my death.
Last I do hereby make and ordain my worthy nephew Nelson Safret & Eli Bostian Executor of this my last will and testament. In Whereof I the said George Safret have to this my Last will and testament set my hand and seal, day and date above written signed, sealed, published & sealed by the said George Safret the testator as his last will & testament in the presence of us which were present at the time of signing and sealing thereof
