Am interested in anything about any of my surname tags or if you think you may be connected, not everything is on my tree yet, the Russell’s were a very big family in and around Etchingham, Salehurst and Burwash in England in the 1600-1900’s many went to the colonies so somewhere there may be a connection , I only put on stuff I am 100% sure of.
It’s the same with Whittens and Wheelers my wheelers came from Essex, england some went to America my grandmother wrote to them and to relations in Australia. I am also interested in social history and in my search have come across many interesting things such as the essex witch trials, hangings and trials in Lewis, I know a lot about the history of Eltham,England and have many very old books about this area an Woolwich, england
