Marjorie Ellen Rushberry was born on 9th November 1924.
Marjorie was a trained nurse.
In 1947 in Melbourne, Victoria, she married Second World War veteran and Victoria Cross recipient, Ted Kenna VC, one of her patients from the Heidelberg Military Hospital.[1] The people of the Hamilton district raised sufficient funds to build Kenna and his wife a house. The Kennas had two sons and two daughters.
Marjorie passed away about 18th August 2009 at Hamilton and was buried beside Ted in the Hamilton Lawn Cemetery.
