Biography

Carl Hugo Ruediger was born on 4 April 1868 at Carlsruhe, South Australia (later Kunden, south of Waterloo), son of Gottfried Ruediger (1824 - 1891) and Anna Rosine (Rudiger) Ruediger (1823 - 1916).^[1][2][3].

His siblings were:

• Gotlieb Theodor Ruediger (1853 - 1937)
• Johann Gottlieb Ruediger (1856 - 1941)
• Maria-pauline (Ruediger) Huppatz (1861 - 1891)

Carl married Bertha Wilhelmine Eberhard on 27 August 1896 at Zion Chapel, Robertstown. He was 29, she was 23, both were single.^[4] Their children included:^[5]

• Linda

Carl died on 12 January 1951 at the Eudunda Hospital in South Australia aged 82 years.^[5] He is buried in Julia Lutheran Cemetery, Julia, Goyder Regional Council, South Australia, Australia.^[2]
