Biography
Catharine (Rowley) Pakenham was born about 1750 in County Meath Ireland, daughter of Hercules Langford Rowley MP (1710 - 1794) and Elizabeth Ormsby (Upton) Rowley (~1712 - 1791).
Catharine married Edward Michael Pakenham (~1743 - 1792) on 25 Jun 1768. Their children were:
- Helen (Pakenham) Hamilton ( - 1807)
- Elizabeth (Pakenham) Stewart (>1768 - 1851)
- Catherine Sarah Dorothea (Pakenham) Wellesley (1773 - 1831)
- Thomas Pakenham (1774 - 1835)
- Maj-Gen. Edward Michael Pakenham (1778 - 1815)
- Lady Caroline Penelope (Pakenham) Hamilton (1779 - 1854)
- Lt Gen Sir Hercules Robert Pakenham KCB (1781 - 1850)
- Rev Hon Henry Pakenham DD (1787 - 1863).
Catharine died on 12 Mar 1816 in Ireland aged ~65.
