The daughter of John Row & Elizabeth Ann (Lyon) Row First marriage to John Elias "Eli" Chaffin November 10, 1828 in Clinton County, Illinois. Eli & Lavina Chaffin were the parents of: William Joseph Sr., Elizabeth E., Christopher C,. Lucy Ann, Mary Jane, Sarah Emaline Chaffin. After Eli passed away in 1846, Lavina married James W. Parker After the death of his first wife on October 3, 1846, Parker married Lavina E. Chaffin on April 27, 1847. He died in 1864 in extreme northern Houston County and is buried in Pilgrim Cemetery in Anderson County, near Elkhart April 26,1847 in Houston County, Texas. They were the Parents of of one child, Allen C. Parker born, April 01,1853 in Houston County, Texas and died September 02, 1858 at the age of five years old.
