George and Mary Byrd Ross were members of the Saint James Episcopal Church and are buried in the churchyard there. [1]
George Ross Jr. was a member of the Supreme Executive Council of Pennsylvania in October of 1787, and was Vice President of this council from November 5th 1788 until December 21st 1790. He was commissioned as Registrar of Wills and Recorder of Deeds for Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1781 and held that office for eighteen years. [2]
