Biography

Born ca.1707 to Johannes Rohrbach.[1]

Immigrated in 1710 at Nutten Island (Governor's Island), Kings Co., NY[1]

Wife,[2]

According to her marriage record, Christiana Roorbach was a native of Germany ("Hoogduytsland"). Christiana Roorbach was married to Robbert Van Deusen on 22 November 1724, in the Reformed Dutch Church of Kingston, New York. Domine Georg Wilhelm Mancius performed the marriage.[3]

Y., is about 51 or 53 years old; he is the son of Jacob Van Dusen, who was son of Matthew Van Dusen, brother of my grandfather, Robert Van Dusen. Said Matthew married, but d without issue." Newburgh, Nov. 1861.
