Biography
George was born 1 September 1837 in West Dublin, Nova Scotia. He was the son of Abraham and Catherine (Crouse) Romkey.
He was a shipbuilder.
He had 12 children from his first wife Angeline and five from his second wife Jerusha.
He died 6 April 1902 at Petite Riviere, Nova Scotia, Canada and is buried at the Methodist Church Cemetery there.[1]
