IV. Abigail Rogers3 [Joseph-, Jo/m^) was born in
that part of Duxbury which became Pembroke: she
married, as his second wife, Thomas Parris (son of John,
of London), who came to Long Island in 1683, married
and moved to Boston, where his wife died, leaving one
daughter, an older one having died in infancy: he came
to Duxbury, now Pembroke, in 1697, where he spent
the rest of his life; he died in 1752: whether his wife
survived him or not, has not been ascertained.
Children, by second wife, born in (now) Pembroke:
i. Samuel Parris+, d. 1730 : had one son, who died young,
ii. John Parris-t : settled in Middleboro.
iii. Thomas Parris^, b. May 8, 1701.

V. Elizabeth Parris-*, m. Eleazer Bonney.
vi. Anne Parris-*, m. Edward May.
vii. Moses Parris, settled in Middleboro.
