Biography

Philander Rodman is a part of US Black heritage.

Philander was born in 1919 in MIssissippi. He was the son of Anderson Rodman and Lula Hall. ^[1][2][3]

Philander married Lou Pearl Evans around 1940; they had one known child, Philander Jr, before divorcing.

Philander served in the U.S. Armed Forces during World War II from Apr-Dec 1944.^[4]

Philander married again to Ethel Mae Letson in 1949 in Cook County, Illinois.^[5] In 1950 Philander and Ethel were living with his uncle Eugene Hall in Chicago, Illinois where Philander was working as a shipping clerk at a hat company.^[6]

He passed away in 2003. His last recorded residence with Social Security was in Chicago, Illinois.^[7]
