My brother-in-law is also a direct descendant of Winston Robinson, through his youngest daughter, Sallie (Robinson) Edmonds/Flippen (1887-1931):

My niece (i.e. my brother-in-law's daughter) has done the Ancestry DNA test, and she has a lot of matches who are descendants of Winston, as his children each had large families with many descendants who are living today.

Anyway, that is my connection to Winston Robinson and why I have done some research on him and his family. Let me know if you every want to talk more about him, etc.
