Thanks for joining us! Im Cindy, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site.
I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Do you have any questions I can answer?
We want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message.

PS To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.
You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week so I am checking in to see how it is going. The New Member How-Tos are for you to work at your own pace. If you had time to look, were they helpful?
I'm here to help with questions about how WikiTree works. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page. I'll get back to you by the end of the day.

PS If you get a "Page Not Found" error when clicking WikiTree email links, you can often find a working version in the public comments on your profile.
PPS Did you discover that the tags on your profile are clickable links to a page of other people who have that tag? You can add more, up to 20 total.
I found the learning curve fairly steep at WikiTree, but it goes fast. The more you play, the easier it gets, and the WikiTree community is wonderfully supportive.
I've found the best way to research my family in WikiTree is to post what I know and connect to existing profiles when I find them. That way, you can ask questions in G2G from the profile you're stuck on & folks will know what you have already.
The How to use WikiTree link has basic info on WikiTree & the How-to link I just posted has links for steps in a "Guided Tour" that most folks (including me!) find really helpful.
Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.
Cheers, Liz
P.S. If you get a "Page Not Found" error when you click a link in a WikiTree e-mail, you can usually find a functioning link in the public comments section of your profile page.

You are now a confirmed member of the WikiTree community and can start adding your family.
Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members. See the links at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:New_Member_How-To
