Robert and Mary Beveridge were married on 23 Jun 1876 at 396 Springburn Road, Glasgow, after banns according to the forms of the United Presbyterian Church, and registered in Dennistoun. [2]

Their children were:

Born in Scotland, Mr. Rennie landed in Montreal 49 years ago and secured a position with the Montreal Street Railway Company.  A blacksmith by trade, he used to shoe all the horses used in the horse-car system of that day.  With the advent of the electric cars, he still retained his job of blacksmith when the old company was taken over by the tramways system, and worked until two years ago.
