Biography
Elizabeth "Betty" Rinehart was born on January 12, 1791, in Virginia to Bavarian Immigrants. She joined a Mennonite family[1] with her marriage to Simon Grove on May 10, 1809, in Franklin, Virginia.[2] They had 12 children in 23 years, farming in Indiana. They returned to Illinois in 1844; Simon died in 1848 and she survived till 1858.[3]She died on September 8, 1858, in Tazewell, Illinois, at the age of 67, and was buried in Washington, Illinois.
