Biography

Catharina Elisabeth Reeman was born about 1740.

She married on May 23rd, 1768 in the catholic parish St. Laurentius Warendorf Joan Henrich Westerhove.[1] They had the following children:

In 1805 Catharinas husband Johann Henrich died leaving her and 5 children behind.[9]

In 1816 Catharina Elisabeth and her son Johann Christian live at "Kurze Kesslestraße 7" in Warendorf. She is widowed and her son works as butcher.[4]

On June 14th, 1816 Catharina Elisabeth is godmother of her grandchild Catharina Elisabeth, daughter of Bernard Anton Westerhove.[10]

Research Notes

  • One of the child must have died or left town before 1805.
  • Birth record & parents are not yet identified. The Joann Christian Reeman being witness at her marriage might be her father/uncle or brother. There is an Johann Rehmann from Kleinenberg with two daughters Maria Gertrud and Catharina Elisabeth, becoming citizen in 1753 in Warendorf.[11] Last seems so far the most likely connection.
  • Death is also not identified yet.
