Biography

Stephen was the son of James Reed. He passed away in 1884.[1]

Stephen Reed III was born about 1800/1806, in Ashe, North Carolina, United States.

He married Nancy Powell on 4 November 1827, in Clay, Kentucky[2]. They were the parents of at least 8 sons and 2 daughters.

He lived in Fairplain Township, Montcalm, Michigan, United States in 1880.

CENSUS 1880 Fairplain Township, Montcalm, Michigan, Stephen age 80 and Nancy (age 70) were living with their son Abner Reed and Lydia Ann Reed[3]
