Tragic Death

The tragic death occurred at Wee Waa last week of Mrs. Ada Nellie Sadler, widow of the late Mr. J. J. Sadler. Mrs. Sadler had not been enjoying good health for some time, and was a patient in the District Hospital. During the past few days she had been carried away with the thought of being home for Christmas, and this may have unbalanced her for the time. However she slipped out of the ward unobserved and although a search was shortly instituted, no trace was seen until the police found the body in the Lagoon. The body was removed to the morgue and after a preliminary inquiry, the Coroner, Mr. L. Knight, made a formal order for burial. She is survived by four daughters, Eileen (Mrs. L. Madden), Minnie (Mrs. E. Scifleet), Elva and Merle, and four sons, Albert (RAAF) Ronald, William and Athol. ^[5]
