(1) Have been in search of some contemporaneous record(s) that might prove our George is the same person who married Abigail Kettle (intention at Charlestown). Ditto, that the Abigail Raymond who died at Beverly, age 77 years (cites P. R. 257, "Bible record now in possession of Mrs. John W. Raymond"), is indeed Abigail, dau. of Jonathan and Katherine (Hands) Kettle. For her death record, see Vital Records of Beverly, 2:539.

(2) Beverly Town Records (the old Town Clerk compiled family entries), report that George's children were baptized at 2nd Church. See FamilySearch.

There seems to be an archive of those records (see Historic Beverly (PDF)], but it doesn't seem these have been viewed and considered in any modern genealogies.

I did not find a trace of these items in the FamilySearch catalog. FamilySearch.

George Raymond's name does not appear along side his surviving siblings in the 1752 agreement/deed regarding Nathaniel Raymond's house.

This seems to be an unexplained conflict. --Gene

In the division of Nathaniel Rayment's estate, 2 April 1752, a barn and surrounding land was assigned to son David Rayment, but the house remained undivided among his four sons (David, Benjamin, George and Nathaniel). On 1 July 1769, those listed below conveyed their interest in the house to Joseph Raymond of Beverly, housewright,

Benjamin Raymond of Beverly, gentleman, with consent of Mary, his wife
Nathaniel Raymond of Beverly, cooper, with consent of Martha, his wife
Ebenezer Trask of Beverly, gentlemen, and wife Elizabeth
Joseph Corning of Beverly, cooper, and wife Hannah
Rebecca Sears of Beverly, widow
Mary Preston, of Chester, New Hampshire, widow
