== Biography I am a graduate of Anderson University, Anderson IN. I am a preschool teacher. Besides teaching during the week I also teach Sunday school at my church. Hobbies - knitting(especially loom knitting), baking, scrapbooking, reading, gardening (container), camping, and genealogy (of course). I have an adult stepson. My other "children" consist of 2 cats and 5 cockatiels. I collect dolphins, hedgehogs, Noah's arks, and teapots. I have lived in 4 states and Guatemala.
So far my genealogy sources have been family oral history and Ancestry.com sources. When I was a member of Ancestry I looked up many records - census, birth, marriage, and death records, newspaper articles, military records, etc.

My Welty line is through my great grandmother Catherine Welty, wife of George Raver. They were both born in Ohio and were married in Adams County Indiana ,where they basically stayed their entire married life.
