Mark Rappaport has Jewish Roots.

Mark Joseph Rappaport was born on the 26th October 1916, in Mile End Old Town, Middlesex, England, the son of Harris Rappaport and Sarah Bomhel.^[1]

On the 29th September 1939, Mark Joseph (incorrect year of birth gave an age of 33 years instead of 23 years), a Commercial Traveller, was living with his family at 99 Downs Road, Hackney. Those at home were his father: Harris (60), his occupation listed as Dressmaker; his mother: Sarah (50), also a Dressmaker; his sister: Bertha (20), also a Dressmaker; and Bethnal Green-born Mark Shalet (27), a stallholder at the markets.^[2]

He married Diana Sylvia Schneiderman in 1945, the event being registered in the 3rd Quarter at Westminster.^[3]

Mark Joseph Rappaport passed away on the 2nd May 1986, in Ilford, London, England,^[4] and was interred in the Waltham Abbey Jewish Cemetery, Essex, where other family members have also been laid to rest.^[5]
