It seems the Wikitree database lists two individuals named Benjamin Hawkins, one in tree #2743 and one in tree #13250, both with the same birth/death data. They're definitely the same person. I think the confusion arises because Benjamin was married twice: first, to Virginia Belle Benton in 1907, second to Maude Weekley. Things are muddied by there being a Benjamin Hawkins resulting from each of the two marriages: my Dad, b in Louisville in August, 1907, and the second of the name, b 1918. I assume there's a way to correct this to combine the two figures into one, but I'm not sure how to do it. If you need any further information, I may be able to help.
