Elizabeth was born in 1868. She was the daughter of Thomas Ralston and Martha Picken. ^[1]

She married Daniel McEachran in 1890. ^[2]

She passed away in 1956.

McEACHRAN - Mrs. Elizabeth J. McEachran, 87, 1317 Harlem blvd., died at 8:45 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 1956, in her home after a one-year illness. Born Sept. 19, 1868, in Argyle, Ill.,

She was the daughter of Thomas and Martha Picken Ralston. Lived 43 years in Rockford, coming here from a farm near Argyle. Married to Daniel McEachran in Argyle June 19, 1890. Member of First Presbyterian church.

Survivors include: two sons, Ernest T., Rockford, and Curtis D., River Forest; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby E. Nicholas, Rockford, and Mrs. Pearl J. Pierce, Eau Claire, Wis.; eight grandchildren, William and Daniel Nicholas, both of Rockford; Albert Nicholas, Milwaukee, Wis.; Mrs. Janet Esmond, Rockford; Thomas C. Pierce, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Priscilla Pierce, Eau Claire; and Daniel and Martha McEachran, both of River Forest; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her husband died in 1943. Three sisters also died previously.

Services at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the BURPEE-WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 420 N. Main St., with Dr. J. Rodman Williams, pastor of First Presbyterian church, officiating. Burial in Greenwood cemetery.^[3]
