Victor QUARTERMAINE was born on 23 April 1921 in Katanning, Western Australia, Australia[1]. His parents were Raymond QUARTERMAINE and Lily DALE.

11 July 1942, Victoria enlisted in the Australian Army; Service Number: WX28252[2]. He was assigned to 2/7 Australian Infantry Battalion, attained the rank of Private, was wounded in action on 24 April 1945 and was discharged on 7 June 1946. [3]

Evelyn Olive SHEPPARD and Victor QUARTERMAINE were married on 26 February 1949 in Perth, Western Australia[4]

He passed away on 4 November 1998 in Yandanooka, Western Australia, Australia and was buried at the Mingenew Cemetery[5]
