Biography
Louis Pepin was born on 18 Dec 1748 and was baptized the next day in Saint-Charles parish in Charlesbourg, Canada, Nouvelle-France. He was the son of MichelLouis Pepin and Marie Marqueritte Renaud. Sponsors for the infant Louis' baptism were Louis L'Heros and Marie Marguerite Pepin, paternal aunt of the infant; neither sponsor signed the register.
At age 28 Louis Pépin, a farmer, married Marguerite Lepire on 24 Nov 1777 in Saint-Charles-Boromee parish in Charlesbourg, Province de Québec. There were seven known children born into this marriage.
Louis Pépin died at age 48 on 4 Dec 1797 in Saint-Joseph parish in Beauce, Bas-Canada; he was buried the next day on 5 Dec in Saint-Joseph parish cemetery.
