Biography
Daughter of Reuben Pyles (1742–1835) & Mary Esther Rochester (1753–1812), Elizabeth Hanna Pyles was born on July 29, 1821, in South Carolina. She was the wife of William Pleasant Kay (1813–1869). She died on April 19, 1891, in her hometown at the age of 69, and was buried in Honea Path, South Carolina.[1]
