Biography

Lynetta was born in about 1902. Her birth record has been lost. Her grave marker has 1904, but earlier records suggest 1902 is more accurate. She died in 1977 of natural causes in Jonestown, Guyana. She was one of a handful of people to die in Jonestown of natural causes before her son's call for the "revolutionary suicide" of Peoples Temple members that resulted in the deaths of over 900 men, women, and children in Jonestown.
