Greenwich, Fairfield, Connecticut Colony you should know the linage from there. I posted some pics of my Mead family from mom to Tolbrit . They were all farmer in Iowa till my grandpa moved across the river to Nebraska city because my Mom wanted to be in a city, even a small one. She and my father moved to Lincoln to attend the university and thats where i was born. I live with my grandmother, grandfather and uncle Robert Mead while my parents finish law school.Then i spent weekends and summers there after i moved to Lincoln. So I feel very close to the Meads. My Mead tree was on Ancestry I feel very confidant of because i was edited and corrected by Mead expert Bill Mead. The hardest part for me was some of me Meads married other Meads and it got a bit messy but thankfully Bill could straighten it out. His tree is exemplary because he's got all the brother, sisters and their partners. Aloha Merritt
I'm interested in locating family members. I think we are originally from Ireland?
I will be starting a family tree however I'm not too sure if we travelled to America it would be interesting to see.😁
With the Main Branches of the family, are you trying to capture the first immigrants to New England? If so, might William Mead be one that is listed? He might be related to Gabriel, but I haven't looked yet.
