Thomas Prior was born in the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)

Thomas Prior was born on March 31, 1859 in Kapunda, Colony of South Australia, son of Thomas Prior (1834–1908) and Hannah Maria Parfitt (~1839–1916).^[1][2].

He married Marie Dorothea Stubing in 1882 in Kapunda^[3][4][5].

Thomas died on May 3, 1931 in South Australia, Australia, aged 72. He was buried in Hamilton Methodist Church Cemetery, Hamilton, Light Regional Council, South Australia^[2].

PRIOR.—On the 3rd May (suddenly), at his residence, Hampden, Thomas, dearly beloved husband of Marie Prior and loving father of Albert, Alma, Frederick, Beatrice, Hubert, Mayoh, and Irene, aged 72 years. To a beautiful life came a peaceful end.
