Biography
Alice was born about 1891. She is the daughter of John Prentice and Harriet Hill.[1]
Known as Maud Alice.
She married on 8 June 1910 to John Charles Maitland at Palmerston North.
The marriage didn't survive and she remarried in 1934 to Cecil Henry Monk. Cecil had a previous marriage.
John Maitland moved to Wellington.
Alice and Cecil settled in Palmerston North and lived on Boundary Road. Cecil passed away in 1961.[2] Alice moved to Taranaki.
In 1975 Alice died aged 84. Her last known residence was Glenside Home, New Plymouth. No burial - cremation.
