DORIS P. O'GRADY

CUBA--Doris Prentice O'Grady of Wellsville, formerly of Cuba, died Tuesday (Feb 15, 1994) in Jones Memorial Hospital. Born July 12, 1912, in New Hudson, she was a daughter of Hanford and Grace Cole Prentice. She married to Austin Carroll O'Grady, who predeceased her in 1944. A lifelong resident of Cuba, Mrs O'Grady was employed in the office of Acme Electric Corp. until her retirement in 1965. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church in Cuba and its Altas Society and Cuba American Legion Post 65 Auxiliary. Surviving are son. A. Thomas O'Grady, daughter, Mrs Conrad (Ann) Kubiniec, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends were received Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home Inc. Nicholson Chapel, 24 Genesee, Parkway, Cuba. A mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday (Feb 18, 1994) at 11:30 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels church, with Rev Jerome M. Dissek, pastor, as celebrant. Burial was in Cuba cemetery. Memorials may be made to Cuba Memorial Hospital or the Cuba Circulating Library.
