Biography

Charles was born on 11 November 1885, in Seward, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, to Thomas H. Preall and Rose Ann Hill. [1]

In 1900, he was living with his parents and siblings in New Florence Borough, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He had been in school for 7 months. [2]

He finished eight years of school. [3]

On 4 February 1909, S G Noble married Charles Preall and Margaret B McCachren, at New Florence, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He was a liveryman, and was living in Seward. She was a housekeeper, and was living in Armagh. [4] They had three known children:

In 1910, he and Margaret were living with their son Harry T in Seward, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. He was a laborer, working odd jobs. He was not unemployed on 15 April, and was unemployed for 0 weeks in 1909. [5]

In 1920, he and Margaret were living with their two sons at 30 West Campbell Street, ward 1, Blairsville, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. He was not working. [6]

In 1930, he and Margaret were living with their son Charles in Armagh, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. They owned the property, which was worth $3,000. He was a foreman for a construction company; Charles was not working. [7]

In 1940, he and Margaret were living on a farm in East Wheatfield Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. They owned the farm, which was worth $1,000. They were living with Margaret's mother and a boarder. [3]

On 20 October 1954, Charles died, in East Wheatfield Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. He died of congestive heart failure; he also had nephritis. He was an automobile mechanic. He was buried on 22 October, in Armagh Cemetery, Armagh, Indiana County, Pennsylvania. [1] [8]
