MRS. GREENMAN.

The remains of an old and highly respected resident of Gertrude-street, the late Mrs. Mary Greenman; wife of Mr. L. J. Greenman were interred in the Baptist portion of the New General Cemetery on Monday afternoon in the presence of a large circle of sympathising friends. The hearse and coach were followed by a number of public and private vehicles. Several floral emblems were placed on the coffin which was borne to the grave by Messrs. S. and T. Bowyer, G. Freeman and L. Williamson. The pall was supported by Messrs. D. Kincaid, G. Lauder, T. Webbe, J. Cook, W. R. Woodhams, J. W. Stafford and J. Craig. Rev. E. Harris conducted an impressive service at the house and graveside. Mr. Alex. Monro carried out the mortuary arrangements. ^[6]
