In the 1911 census George (age 2) was the son of Maria Macdalane Poulter in Winton, Lee On The Solent, Crofton, Hampshire, England (father not present or named).^[3]

In the 1939 register George (age 31, born 5 Nov 1908), Author, was living in Maultway Collingwood Plan, Frimley and Camberley, Surrey, England with his parents.^[4]

For his significant contributions he was awarded the status of Fellow of the Australian Society of Genealogists.^[5]

George died on 12 February 1976 in Maultway Camberley and his estate passed probate on 25 January 1977 in London.^[6][7]
