Biography

Muriel Olive POTTS was born at Temora NSW in 1906^[1]. Her parents were James POTTS and Eleanor PRATT. Muriel was the 2nd of their 4 children.

She married Ralph Thorburn SIMPSON at West Wyalong NSW in 1929 ^[2]. Ralph was aged 29 years, and Muriel was aged 23 years.

They had at least 1 child:

1. Beryl Thorburn, b 1935 at West Wylong, d 1974 at Ungarie NSW.

The couple were together for 18 years until they divorced, with decree nisi granted on 31 Jan 1947: Muriel Olive Simpson (formerly Potts) v Ralph Thorburn Simpson. Marriage, September, 1929.
