Bessie May Porter was born on 30 September 1890[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9] in Cadiz, Harrison County, Ohio, United States[1][2][3][4][5][6][10][7][8][9]. She was the daughter of Irwin Porter, Jr[1][2][3][4][5][6][10][9] and Ida May McFarlan[1][2][3][4][5][6][10] or Margaret Dergan?[9].

Bessie married George Clinton Douglass[6][10][7][8][9] on 21 October 1908[6][10] in Harrison County, Ohio, United States[6][10].

George and Bessie had 5 children: Stella Irene Douglass[11][7][12], Harry Everett Douglass[13][8][14][15][16], Leroy Vinton Douglass[8][17][18], Edwin Orin Douglass[19][20][8][21][22], and Agnes Douglass[23].

Bessie and George divorced.

Bessie married Joseph "Joe" Donald Rumble[9] on 15 April 1933 in Wellsburg, Brooke County, West Virginia, United States.

Bessie May (Porter) Rumble passed away on 03 June 1935[9] in Flushing Village, Flushing Township, Belmont County, Ohio, United States[9].
