On Wednesday 29th ultimo, the Rev. G. M. Torbett of Port Macquarie, united in wedlock Mr. Joseph. B. Laurie, of Laurieton, and Hannah Porter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Porter, of Laurieton. The wedding took place at the Presbyterian Church, Port Macquarie.[2]
