Elde was born in 1927. She was the daughter of George Porter and Flossie Sibley.^[1]

Elde married Kenneth Hadlock on Aug 21, 1971 in East Haven, Connecticut.^[3]

She passed away in 1994^[4] and is buried at Northford New Cemetery Northford, Connecticut.^[5]
