Biography
Esther Porteous was born in Fort-Coulonge, Quebec in 1899. She was the daughter of Thomas M Porteous and Esther Marbrick. At the age of 16, she married William Drummond in Carleton Place in 1913. She had her parents consent.
At Carleton Place, Wed, 5 January 1921, Mrs. William Drummond, aged 23 years. Born in Carleton Place, Esther Lulu Porteous was the daughter of the late Thomas Porteous. She leaves her husband & 2 small children. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Beckwith.
