In the 1871 census Elizabeth (age 48) was the wife of Jeremiah Spicer in Iwerne Courtney, Dorset, England.^[4]

The correct Elizabeth is born 1822 Shapwick. The place of residence on her 1863 marriage is Chicklade, as is the residence on the 1861 census. Addtionally the marriage record gives her father as John Pople.
